About the Prints

My aim is to provide a quality product that represents my artistic view.  All materials I have chosen are used to display my images at their best while also ensuring archival properties.  I personally print, mat, and frame all of my images and thoroughly inspect each one. I take great pride in each and every one of my framed prints - if I am not satisfied with it, then it doesn't see the light of day.

I print small.  Most of my images are 6"x9" and displayed in 11"x14" frames.  I use custom wood frames and Nielsen aluminum frames.  Both offer a simplistic look while complementing the image.  Each print is double matted with a 2.5" border between the edge of the image and the frame.  I title, date, and sign the back of each photo as well as include a certificate of authenticity.  All prints are limited in editions of eight.

The Main Ingredients

◆    ◆    ◆

The Gold Standard when it comes to framing glass.  This glass is incredibly clear, offering 99% UV protection and anti-reflective.  When I first read about this glass I knew I had to see it.  Upon viewing it, I knew I had to have it.  You won't be disappointed.

I double mat my images using 100% cotton 8 ply and 4 ply museum rag mat.   Just like the glass I use, museum rag mat is of the highest quality.  The thickness of the 8 ply matboard makes for a gorgeous presentation and is a step above anything else you'll find.

Canson offers some of the highest quality fine art papers you can find.  The two Canson papers I use are Rag Photographique 310, and Platine Fibre Rag 310.   Both provide an exceptionally high dmax and are 100% cotton with no OBA's added - making them outstanding choices for print longevity.
